Allergy Testing and Nutritional Therapy

Whilst modern medicine has found cures for many diseases that were prevalent in the past,
modern living trends are creating new problems. The increased refinement and use of additives and
preservatives in processed foods, together with environmental pollution are causing an increasing number
of people to suffer allergic reactions and ill health.

All forms of testing for intolerences have their limitations. For example, scratch testing screens
only a relatively small number of possible allergens whilst food elimination is a long drawn out
process as only one suspect food at a time can be tested.

The method I use (Vega) allows me to test many items at once, and together with my experience (I have
been practicising since 1999) very often gives me an indication of the patient's problem.
The device I use takes measurements from acupressure points usually on the hands.Various substances are
introduced into the machine to highlight weaknesses or sensitivities and to check your nutritional status.

Testing is non-invasive, completely safe and painless, making it suitable for everyone including babies,
children and the elderly. Appointments take around one hour, and I will ask you about your diet, lifestyle,
medical history and current problems. I will advise you on the best form of treatment - which can include
eliminating certain foods for a limited period and/or the use of dsensitising drops or supplements where
appropriate. After your appointment I will confirm in writing your personal treatment plan together with
information on dietary alternatives. You are always welcome to telephone me if you want to report progress
or have any queries.

After following my advice, many people find their often longstanding health problems are much improved or
have disappeared completely.
